Hey loves!
Want a toned down look that still looks amazing?
This matte eye and nude pink lip look is perfect for that!
If you want this look, just keep on reading:)
First step: Prime those lids!
I used the NYX eye shadow base in skin tone. I love NYX products because they have amazing quality and an amazing price!
Second step: Apply matte light tanish-brown shadow starting from the crease of your lid and extend the color up towards your brow. I used the dramatic matte eye shadow in the color refined from Victoria's Secret.
Third step: Apply matte light pink all over the lid and into your tear duct. I used an eye shadow from Mary Kay in the color sweet pink.
Fourth step: Apply matte purple-maroon color to your crease, I used the color raisin from Mary Kay. Start at the outer edge of your lid, extend into a mild peak toward your brow, then follow along your crease! (Tip: going around your eye ball with a thin tipped brush will create the perfect line) Follow with a matte dark brown color and go over the crease to create a darker, more pigmented look! The color I used is called espresso, and that is also from Mary Kay. Using a clean blending brush, blend the product up and outward to get a faded look!
Fifth step: Apply your favorite black gel liner along your lid as close to your lash line as possible, I personally love the maybelline eyestudio gel liner! Of course for my mascara, I used the hypnose drama mascara from Lancome! After you have applied your mascara, line your water line with a white eyeliner. I used the Revlon photo ready liner! (white eyeliner on your water line is a great way to make your eyes appear larger)
The final step: Line your lips with a pink or neutral lip liner, and follow with a nude pink lipstick! For my lipstick, I used the Sonia Kashuk lipstick in the color nude pink! I am really loving the products from Sonia Kashuk also! They are available at target and super high quality with a great, affordable price!
Id love to see pictures of your creations of the look! As always, please leave comments of any products you would like me to try or review as well as anything else you would like to see:)<3
