Colorful Gold Eye Tutorial

Hello my beauties!
I had originally filmed this tutorial for my youtube channel but unfortunately, the camera I used is missing the cable needed to upload the video to my computer:(
It was so popular on instagram that I thought I would write a tutorial on here for you guys and then see if you would want me to re-shoot the video and put the tutorial on my channel!

Step One
Prime your lids! I used the NYX eye shadow base in skin tone

Step Two
Using a clean blending brush, sweep a deep orange color above your crease. I used a orange color from my BH Cosmetics Party Girl Palette. Leave enough room to add more color underneath and be able to blend.

Step Three
Sweep a medium pink color under the orange and blend the colors together using a different blending or crease brush. The pink I used is also from the Party Girl Palette from BH Cosmetics

Step Four
Wet a clean shader brush and apply a gold shadow all over the lid. To wet the brush, you can use MAC's Fix +, eye drops are a cheaper option that still work great, or water if you have neither of those things! Make sure you tap the brush on the back of your hand before picking up the color to make sure the brush is not too wet! The gold color I used is called Sun, and that is out of the Galaxy Chic Palette also from BH Cosmetics.

Step Five
Using a pencil brush, apply a black shadow into the outer-v of your eye and blend the shadow into your crease and into the gold. Any black shadow will do but the shadow I used is from the same Party Girl Palette.

Step Six
After you have applied your liner and mascara, line your water line with a purple eyeliner or shadow stick! I used the Mary Kay eyeliner in Violet Ink.

Step Seven
Using a smudger brush, apply a purple eye shadow under the lower lash line and blend the same pink color used earlier underneath of that!

I hope you like this tutorial and that nothing is confusing to you!

Videos Videos Videos!

Since my birthday is coming up in a few weeks, I have decided to ask my parents for studio lights to use so I can film videos for my youtube channel!
I haven't been able to shoot any videos because I just can't get the lighting right so hopefully these lights will do the trick!
Here is what they look like!
I am getting them from amazon for $159.99!
According to the reviews, they are perfect for filming videos for youtube and things of that nature but they are not high enough quality to use for professional photography.
I am very excited so stay tuned for some videos with in the next three weeks!

Drug Store Products I Am Loving!

Long time no see my loves!
I have been so unbelievably busy with school and other personal things that I have had no time to post on here as well as my youtube channel that is linked in my bio and Google + page
I have accumulated a variety of drug store products that are great!
I am going to tell you guys a little about the products and give a little review!
Colour Calming Primer by No 7
I originally bought this product because not only did I need face primer but I wanted one that would allow me to use less product. I love this primer! It goes on green but when you apply it, it almost transforms to your skin and creates an even canvas. I definitely recommend this product for redness! As for its application, be careful not to apply too much because your face will be very green and even after you apply your foundation, it will still have a greenish tint (made that mistake the first time I used it). Also, I would recommend applying this with a brush instead of your hands. I use a foundation brush and it goes on a lot more even. I found that when I applied it with my hands, the primer got powdery and almost began to flake as I rubbed it in! You can find this product at Target for $8.99

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Stick "Bare it All"
For only $1.99 from CVS, I bought this lipstick from the brand Wet n Wild! I was looking for a cheap nude lipstick and have heard a lot of good things about this brand! It definitely is a brand that I would buy again. The color goes on exactly the same as it looks in the tube and lasts a while (with lip liner and a little gloss of course!). If you are looking for lipstick that does not break the bank, go for Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Stick!

E.L.F Small Stippling Brush
I was looking for a new foundation brush because the previous one I was using left a lot of streaks and I hated it! There is a larger version of this brush but I purchased the small one because I wanted to be able to reach into the small crevices of my face easier! I was surprised at the quality of this brush for the price! I have washed it twice and use it basically every day and it has had little to no shedding! It applies great and just really does what it is supposed to! This brush was from Target and I bought it for the price of $3.00!

Covergirl TruBlend FixStick "medium deep"
I actually purchased this product from Walmart for $7.44 today since I have been wanting to use a cream contour instead of powder! I will definitely post a review once I actually use it but I have heard many good things about this product being used specifically for contouring!

Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue
I actually was not a fan of the original baby lips collection. I kind of felt that the only reason the products were so popular was because of the look of the tube and the various colors. However, I love the medicated Baby Lips products. Maybelline has done a great job of mixing color with a medicated chap stick that relieves pain from cold sores and severe chapped lips which I seriously have right now! These products are available at many drug stores! Definitely recommend over eos! $3.48 from Walmart

Rimmel London's Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in "True Ivory"
I personally do not use this as my go-to foundation on a day-to-day basis but that has nothing to do with the product not doing its job. It actually does its job very well which is actually the problem. I have naturally dry skin and this foundation is very very matte. If you have oily skin, this is the product for you 100% but if you have dryer skin, it still looks great but you have to apply the product carefully. It has a faint chemically smell but honestly it does not bother me. It does not linger, its only around has you are originally putting it on your face prior to rubbing it in. I purchased this from CVS for $3.99 after using a $1.00 off coupon.

L'Oreal paris Magic Nude Liquid Powder Perfecting Makeup in "Nude Beige"
This is by far my favorite foundation ever! This foundation goes on so smoothly and it seriously looks like you're not even wearing foundation. It is not a very thick foundation but it has a very good coverage! You NEED to shake this product before you use it. I am not sure why but it says it on the bottle and if you do not, the foundation will not be mixed when you apply it. I absolutely recommend this foundation for all skin types! From Walmart for $10.97

As always, please leave comments of things you would like me to post or review!
Thank you for all of the support xoxo<3

Lash Attack!

I feel like i haven't posted anything in so long!
I feel like one of the hardest things to do when buying beauty products is find a quality pair of false eyelashes that stay on, look good, and last long without having to spend a lot of money.
Well do I have some news for you!

I FOUND THEM

Available at target, Sonia Kashuk has a line of false eyelashes that are easy to apply, the glue is really strong, they look amazing, and for only $4.99 I was able to get FOUR perfect wears out of them and I most definitely could have gotten a few more wears!
My favorite style from her line of false lashes are the full drama eyelashes but she has a full range from super natural looking, to full dramatic lashes!

If you are anything like me, you don't have money to spend to go splurging on super expensive false eyelashes and I think we can all agree that once you start wearing false eyelashes, your regular lashes just aren't good enough, plus it saves so much time; rather than sitting there applying coat after coat of mascara!
Full Drama Eyelashes by Sonia Kashuk

I hope this post helps you guys achieve your most amazing look for so much cheaper!
Leave comments of new products to try! I'm looking to try new products!

Bye loves xxoo

First Impression! BH Cosmetics palettes: The Galaxy Chic Palette and The Party Girl Palette

Hey guy!
I just had to post about these products and my first impressions of them since both of these palettes are so AMAZING!!!!!!
I bought both of these palettes from BH cosmetics during their huge end of the year sale which is still going on for six more hours so if you see this and want to check out the products for WAY CHEAP go over to www.bhcosmetics.com now!

\\
 The Party Girl Palette

This palette is so amazing!
Since I ordered these products online, I was a bit worried about the products being damaged during shipping but they weren't at all thank god! The casing is very protective and this palette also comes in a box. The shadows are very pigmented and it is crazy how easily they blend together! I applied the shadows over top of my NYX eye shadow base and I had absolutely no issues with the shadows creasing, or wearing off! The original price of this palette is $17.95 and I personally think that is an amazing price for 40 excellent quality matte and regular shadows!
10/10

The Galaxy Chic Palette

I am in love with this palette as well!
This palette is a hard cased palette with a magnetic closure!
After receiving this palette, I have no doubt that this palette could with stand any shipping, it is so protective!
This palette consists of 18 baked eye shadows that are so amazing! Now I know some of you are wondering what baked products actually are, well, a baked eye shadow is actually strategically baked in an oven so the product becomes smoother, more pigmented, more blend-able, and lasts longer and that is exactly the result that I got from these shadows! They go on so smoothly, you almost can't even feel that you are putting something on your eyelids! The shadows are so pigmented and they last literally all day, they also blend together so easily that it makes using these shadows a dream! The down side to this palette, at least for me, is that I find it hard to make a complete eye look out of just these shadows that I could wear without a special occasion. It definitely would not stop me from buying this palette again because I am totally obsessed with baked eye shadows but if I had one complaint, that would be it! You can get this palette for $22.95!
Overall 8.5/10
